Timmerman Commons
Timmerman Commons is a strip mall located at the North end
of Timmerman airport on Silver Spring Dr. The project updates the exterior of a
1980’s building, bringing it in line with some of the newer construction in the
area. Roof over hangs were cut back and wall surfaces were increased to allow
the building signage to fit more comfortably with a less cluttered look. The
design takes its cues from 1920’s aviation motifs. With the use of a bold color
pallet, the building takes on a new prominence on Silver
Spring Dr.

We are excited to announce the completion of Cameo Care Campus!!

The 36,000 square foot addition, at the existing campus, expands upon the full continuum of care offered. A shining achievement was our project delivery method. Working in harmony with the owner, through a design-build partnership with Stier Construction, we provided a highly cost effective beautiful and very flexible design.
With the owner’s desire and our knowledge of code it was determined that we should design this building to be easily re-licensed as future market demands, codes and demographics evolve. This is no easy task for an architect to achieve. It required us to be highly knowledgeable of the various overlapping codes in order to achieve the goal of multiple licensures. The return on investment is a building that will absolutely outlive other designs of similar style, budget and use. At the present, the resident centered homelike design currently is licensed for 27 units of assisted living and 24 units of rehabilitation skilled care.
Our design focuses on dramatic centrally located public spaces with short hallway distances to efficiently purposed resident rooms. The entire building is designed with a level of finishes that are homelike and comforting. Amenities such as sitting areas, lounges and interactive dining areas with open airy ceilings are all centrally located around private landscaped courtyards. As one resident mentioned to us just a few weeks upon moving in, “This is the nicest place to stay in Milwaukee!”
