Schroeder and Holt Architects is pleased to announce the hiring of Melinda Poeppel, who has joined their Architecture 2000 (

A2K) team as a Project Manager. Melinda is NCARB certified and a LEED accredited professional with over 20 years of experience in diverse practice areas ranging from  higher education, commercial, mixed used, multifamily and health care. Over the last several years she has developed a specialized focus in senior living working on a variety of local and national building projects. Melinda has a Commercial Art and Design degree from  Carroll College and graduated with her Masters in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1996.

Melinda is a creative and detailed orientated individual with a passion to provide clients with innovative and well thought out design solutions raising the quality of life for residents they serve.

SHA Looking to Hire Architectural Draftsperson

Drafter with the following qualities is preferred:

AutoCAD proficient.  BIM (Revit) and Google Sketch-Up knowledgeable.  Additional 3D Rendering capabilities would be beneficial but not required.  Our ideal candidate would be an individual that possesses design talent and passion for architecture and is interested in the following sectors; Multi-Family Housing, Assisted Living and/or Residential Architecture and is looking for an opportunity to grow with a Top 25 Metro Milwaukee Firm.  This individual must have a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s is not required but preference will be given to those who have attained one.  Candidate must have flexible schedule.  This is a full-time position.   Candidates that are available for immediate hire or graduating Spring of 2014 will be considered. 

Minimum Experience: 0 years

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Minimum, Master’s not required

Position: Full-time 40+

Wages:  Hourly with Paid Overtime, Hourly Rate based on Qualifications
